Let’s dive in! ⚖️ Legal & Licensing Are Sur-Ron bikes street legal? YES, our range of Sur-Ron eBikes include fully ROAD LEGAL models. These are the ONLY versions allowed on the UK roads. The Off-road variants are NOT allowed to be ridden on the road and are purely for OFF ROAD purposes! Do I need a motorcycle license? Maybe. Can I carry a passenger? Some models can, but double-check the specs before you do. Is the Light Bee X an eBike or motorcycle? It’s kind of in-between. It’s technically an electric dirt bike, not a bicycle. It doesn’t have pedals and packs way more power than your average eBike. ⚡ Charging & Battery Do the bikes need special charging stations? Nope! You can charge your Sur-Ron bike with a regular wall outlet, just like your phone. Super convenient. How long does it take to charge? On average, it takes about 3–4 hours to fully charge a bike from under 20% using a regular outlet. What’s the range on a single charge? Sur-Ron bikes can go up to 75 miles on a full charge, depending on how and where you ride. How long does the battery last? With proper care, the battery can last several years.
